A Course of Reckoning is an upcoming documentary that re-imagines mental wellness in rural Alaska. With an intersectional approach, a mindfulness of past inequities, and a focus on forging ahead, the film interviews mental health experts, community organizers, artists, and everyday Alaskan residents to explore the unique challenges and wellness opportunities inherent in life on the last frontier.

Rosie, a struggling singer in her thirties living in New York City, reaches a point of personal crisis following the abrupt retirement of her long-time musical partner. On a whim, she leaves the city and travels to Dalton, a small town in southeast Alaska, seeking reinvention and self-discovery. Set against the dynamic Alaskan backdrop, and infused with an original musical score, Rosie and the End of the Road is a portrait of friendship, community, loss, and resilience.
